Sahih al-Bukhari 6530

Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to me; Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah will say, ‘Adam!’ He will reply, ‘At Your service; all good is in Your hands.’ Allah will say, ‘Bring out those destined for the Fire.’ Adam will ask, ‘How many are those destined for the Fire?’ He will say, ‘Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand.’ That is when the young will turn gray, every pregnant female will miscarry, and you will see people as though drunk, though they are not drunk; rather, Allah's punishment is severe. This distressed them, and they said, ‘Messenger of Allah, which of us is that one?’ He replied, ‘Be glad, for among Gog and Magog there are a thousand, and among you there is one.’ Then he said, ‘By the One in whose hand is my soul, I hope you will make up one third of the people of Paradise.’ We praised Allah and declared His greatness. Then he said, ‘By the One in whose hand is my soul, I hope you will make up half of the people of Paradise. Among the other communities, your likeness is like a white hair on the hide of a black bull, or a mark on the foreleg of a donkey.’
