Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ضِعْفَىْ مَا جَعَلْتَ بِمَكَّةَ مِنَ الْبَرَكَةِ " . تَابَعَهُ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ يُونُسَ.
Translation
Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated to us: Wahb bin Jarir narrated to us: my father narrated to us; I heard Yunus, from Ibn Shihab, from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: O Allah, grant Medina twice the blessing You granted Mecca. Uthman bin Umar also related it from Yunus.
