Bulugh al-Maram 1383
وَعَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ "مَنْ صُنِعَ إِلَيْهِ مَعْرُوفٌ, فَقَالَ لِفَاعِلِهِ: جَزَاكِ اَللَّهُ خَيْراً. فَقَدْ أَبْلَغَ فِي اَلثَّنَاءِ" } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه الترمذي ( 2035 )، وابن حبان ( 3404 ) وقال الترمذي: " هذا حديث حسن جيد غريب".
Usamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: If someone does you a kindness and you say to him, May Allah reward you with good, you have expressed the fullest praise. Al-Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Ibn Hibban graded it authentic. It is authentic; al-Tirmidhi transmitted it (2035), Ibn Hibban (3404), and al-Tirmidhi said: A hasan, sound, singular report.
