Bulugh al-Maram 1387
Arabic hadith text
وَلِلْبُخَارِيِّ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَائِشَةَ: { " وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اَللَّهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ" } 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 6700 ) وأوله: " من نذر أن يطيع الله، فليطعه" .
Translation
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: ‘Whoever vows to disobey Allah must not disobey Him.’ Al-Bukhari transmitted it. It is authentic; al-Bukhari transmitted it (6700). Its opening says: ‘Whoever vows to obey Allah should obey Him.’
