كتاب الصلاة

Book 2, Hadith 464
وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا { أَنَّهَا أَخْرَجَتْ جُبَّةَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-مَكْفُوفَةَ اَلْجَيْبِ وَالْكُمَّيْنِ وَالْفَرْجَيْنِ, بِالدِّيبَاجِ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ رواه أبو داود (4054)‏.‏
Translation
Narrated Asma' bint Abu Bakr (RA)

She brought out the mantle (over-garment) of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)) with it's collar, sleeves, front and back hemmed with brocade (silk).[Abu Dawud reported it].

Book 2, Hadith 465
وَأَصْلُهُ فِي"مُسْلِمٍ", وَزَادَ: { كَانَتْ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ حَتَّى قُبِضَتْ, فَقَبَضْتُهَا, وَكَانَ اَلنَّبِيُّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-يَلْبَسُهَا, فَنَحْنُ نَغْسِلُهَا لِلْمَرْضَى نَسْتَشْفِي بِهَا } 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ وهو عند مسلم (3/1641)‏ وعنده: "يستشفى".‏
Translation
Its basic meaning is in Muslim's Sahih with the addition

"It was with 'Aishah (RA) till she died, then I took possession of it. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to wear it, and we wash it for the sick, seeking cure by means of it."

Book 2, Hadith 466
وَزَادَ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ فِي"اَلْأَدَبِ اَلْمُفْرَدِ".‏ { وَكَانَ يَلْبَسُهَا لِلْوَفْدِ وَالْجُمُعَةِ } 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ رواه البخاري في "الأدب المفرد" ص (127‏-128/رقم 348)‏.‏
Translation
al-Bukhari added in Adab al-Mufrad

"He [the Prophet (ﷺ)] used to wear it on the visit of a delegation and on Fridays."
