Bulugh al-Maram 7
وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ صَحِبَ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { نَهَى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -"أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ اَلْمَرْأَةُ بِفَضْلِ اَلرَّجُلِ, أَوْ اَلرَّجُلُ بِفَضْلِ اَلْمَرْأَةِ, وَلْيَغْتَرِفَا جَمِيعًا } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ. وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَإِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه أبو داود (81)، والنسائي (1/ 130) من طريق داود بن عبد الله الأودي، عن حميد الحميري، عن رجل صحب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، به. قلت: وهذا سند صحيح، كما قال الحافظ.
A man who accompanied the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a woman to bathe using the water left over by a man, or a man to bathe using the water left over by a woman; rather, they should both scoop water together. Abu Dawud and al-Nasa'i reported it, and its chain is authentic. 1 — Abu Dawud (81) and al-Nasa'i (1/130) transmitted it through Dawud ibn Abd Allah al-Awdi, from Humayd al-Himyari, from a man who accompanied the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I say: This chain is authentic, as al-Hafiz said.
