Arabic hadith text
وَعَنْهُ: { إِذَا اِسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَلَا يَغْمِسُ يَدَهُ فِي اَلْإِنَاءِ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدَهُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وَهَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِم ٍ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (162)، ومسلم (278).

Abu Huraira also reported: “When one of you wakes from sleep, let him not dip his hand into the vessel until he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand spent the night.” Agreed upon; this is Muslim’s wording. 1 — Authentic. Al-Bukhari (162) and Muslim (278) reported it.
