عَنْ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كُنْتُ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَتَوَضَّأَ, فَأَهْوَيْتُ لِأَنْزِعَ خُفَّيْهِ, فَقَالَ:"دَعْهُمَا, فَإِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا طَاهِرَتَيْنِ"فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (206)، ومسلم (274) (79).
Translation
Narrated Abu Bakra (rad)
The Prophet (ﷺ) gave permission for the traveller to perform Mash (wiping) over his leather socks for three days and nights and for a non-traveller for a day and night, if he had put them on in a state of purity. [Reported by Ad-Daraqutni and graded Sahih (sound) by Ibnn Khuzaima].
