Arabic hadith text
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ أَيْضًا, عَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَرْفُوعًا: { إِنَّمَا اَلْوُضُوءُ عَلَى مَنْ نَامَ مُضْطَجِعًا } وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ ضَعْفٌ أَيْضً ا 1 .1 - منكر. رواه أبو داود (202).

Abu Dawud also reported from Ibn ‘Abbas, traced to the Prophet: ‘Ablution is required only of one who sleeps lying down.’ Its chain is also weak. (1)
