وَلِلتِّرْمِذِيِّ: { أُخْرَاهُنَّ, أَوْ أُولَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ } 1 .1 - سنن الترمذي (91)، وعنده زيادة أخرى، وهي: "وإذا ولغت فيه الهرة، غسل مرة". قلت: وهي زيادة صحيحة كما بينت ذلك في "ناسخ الحديث ومنسوخه" لابن شاهين رقم (140) .

Al-Tirmidhi’s wording says: “At its last washing, or its first, with earth.” 1 — Sunan al-Tirmidhi (91). It has another addition: “If a cat laps from it, wash it once.” I say: This addition is authentic, as I explained in Ibn Shahin’s Nasikh al-Hadith wa-Mansukhih, no. 140.

The Arabic unit includes an additional report about a cat lapping from the vessel and a separate authenticity note; the English witness presents only the first-versus-last washing variant.
Should the witness be recorded as covering only the variant wording?
