Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a woman who sees in her sleep what a man sees. He said: ‘She must perform ghusl.’ It is agreed upon. 1 — The al-Hafiz's attribution of it as agreed upon was mistaken—may Allah have mercy on him—since al-Bukhari did not transmit this hadith.

  • عزوه للمتفق عليه وهم الحافظ ‏-رحمه الله‏- إذا الحديث لم يروه البخاري.

The main text labels the report as agreed upon, but the annotation explicitly calls that attribution a mistake because al-Bukhari did not transmit it. Both claims are preserved as written.

Should the attribution be corrected in the source record before this unit is approved?

  • فِي اَلْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى اَلرَّجُلُ

The Arabic says a woman sees in her sleep what a man sees; the witness says she has an ejaculation. The source wording does not use a term for ejaculation here.

Should the witness's ‘having ejaculation’ be corrected to the wording about seeing in one's sleep?
