حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الأَحْوَصِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ صَلَّى فِي شَمْلَةٍ قَدْ عَقَدَ عَلَيْهَا .

Aḥmad ibn Thābit al-Jaḥdarī narrated to us; Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from al-Aḥwaṣ ibn Ḥakīm, from Khālid ibn Maʿdān, from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed wearing a woolen wrap that he had tied with a knot.
