The clothing of the Messenger of Allah (saws) Sunan Ibn Majah 3556
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ نُوحِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَلَبِسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الصُّوفَ وَاحْتَذَى الْمَخْصُوفَ وَلَبِسَ ثَوْبًا خَشِنًا خَشِنًا .
Translation
It wasnarrated that Anas said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) worewooland sandals, and he wore coarse, rough garments.”
