Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ .
Translation
Hishām ibn ʿAmmār narrated to us; Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from Musāwir al-Warrāq, from Jaʿfar ibn ʿAmr ibn Ḥurayth, from his father, who said: I saw the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, preaching from the pulpit with a black turban on.
