Abū Bakr narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥīm ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, from al-Ifrīqī, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Rāfiʿ, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came out to us with a garment of silk in one hand and gold in the other. He said, “These two are forbidden to the males of my community and permitted to its females.”
