Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا دَلْهَمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، عَنْ حُجَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِنْدِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ، أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خُفَّيْنِ سَاذَجَيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ فَلَبِسَهُمَا .
Translation
Abū Bakr narrated to us; Wakīʿ narrated to us; Dalham ibn Ṣāliḥ al-Kindī narrated to us, from Ḥujayr ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Kindī, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, that the Negus gifted the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, two plain black leather boots, and he wore them.
