حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ الْحَجْرِيِّ الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْحَجْرِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَيْحَانَةَ، صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَنْهَى عَنْ رُكُوبِ النُّمُورِ ‏.‏

Translation

It was narrated that Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us; Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us; ‘Ayyash ibn ‘Abbas al-Himyari narrated to me, from Abu Husayn al-Hajri al-Haytham, from ‘Amir al-Hajri, who said: ‘I heard Abu Rayhanah, a Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid riding on leopard skins.’
