Sunan Ibn Majah 3570

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us; Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from ʿAṭiyyah, from Abū Saʿīd, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever drags his lower wrap out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”

ʿAṭiyyah said: I met Ibn ʿUmar at al-Balāṭ and mentioned to him the hadith of Abū Saʿīd from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said, pointing to his ears, “My two ears heard it, and my heart retained it.”
