حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِنَبِيذِ جَرٍّ يَنِشُّ فَقَالَ " اضْرِبْ بِهَذَا الْحَائِطَ فَإِنَّ هَذَا شَرَابُ مَنْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ " .

Abū Hurayrah reported: A drink of nabīdh from a jar was brought to the Prophet ﷺ while it was fermenting. He said, ‘Smash this against the wall, for this is the drink of one who does not believe in Allah and the Last Day.’

The verb yanisshu describes the drink undergoing fermentation or fizzing; ‘fermenting’ is used here without specifying its stage.
The command is to dash or throw the drink against the wall, i.e. discard it; the wording is kept vivid.

Yanisshu describes a change in the drink that may be fermentation or fizzing; the report does not specify its stage or process.
