Every intoxicant is haram
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، تَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ "
Translation
It wasnarrated from ‘Aishah, narrating it from the Prophet (ﷺ)
“Everydrink that causes intoxication is unlawful.”
