ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad and ʿAmr ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, both saying: Wakīʿ narrated to us: Ismāʿīl Abū Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Fuḍayl ibn ʿAmr, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from al-Faḍl—or one of them from the other—that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever intends to perform ḥajj should hasten, for a sick person may fall ill, a lost animal may wander away, or a need may arise.”
