حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لإِحْرَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ - قَالَ سُفْيَانُ - بِيَدَىَّ هَاتَيْنِ ‏.‏

Translation

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us. Ḥ Muḥammad ibn Rumḥ informed us: al-Layth ibn Saʿd informed us. Both narrated from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Qāsim, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, who said: I applied perfume to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, for his consecration before he entered it and for his release from it before he circumambulated the House. Sufyān said: I did this with these two hands.
