حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفَارِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ يُلَبِّي .
Translation
ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: Wakīʿ narrated to us: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Abū al-Ḍuḥā, from Masrūq, from ʿĀʾishah, who said: It is as if I can see the glimmer of perfume in the hair partings of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was reciting the pilgrimage formula.
