What clothes the Muhrim may wear Sunan Ibn Majah 2930
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِوَرْسٍ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٍ .
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said
“The Messenger ofAllah(ﷺ) forbade the Muhrim to wear a garment dyed with Wars orsaffron.”
