حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ، بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا، وَعِكْرِمَةَ، يُحَدِّثَانِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَتْ ضُبَاعَةُ بِنْتُ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ ثَقِيلَةٌ وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ فَكَيْفَ أُهِلُّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَهِلِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Translation

Abū Bishr Bakr ibn Khalaf narrated to us: Abū ʿĀṣim narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj: Abū al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Ṭāwūs and ʿIkrimah relate from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: Ḍubāʿah bint al-Zubayr ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib came to the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: “I am a heavy woman and I wish to perform ḥajj; how should I enter consecration?” He said: “Enter consecration and stipulate: My release will be wherever You detain me.”
