حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَسْتَلِمُ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الْبَيْتِ إِلاَّ الرُّكْنَ الأَسْوَدَ وَالَّذِي يَلِيهِ مِنْ نَحْوِ دُورِ الْجُمَحِيِّينَ .
Translation
Aḥmad ibn ʿAmr ibn al-Sarḥ al-Miṣrī narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us: Yūnus informed me, from Ibn Shihāb, from Sālim ibn ʿAbd Allāh, from his father, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, would touch only two corners of the House: the Black Stone and the corner beside it, in the direction of the homes of the Jumaḥīs.
