حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْرُوفُ بْنُ خَرَّبُوذَ الْمَكِّيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ، عَامِرَ بْنَ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ بِمِحْجَنِهِ وَيُقَبِّلُ الْمِحْجَنَ ‏.‏

Translation

ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: Wakīʿ narrated to us. [Another chain:] Hadiyyah ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb narrated to us: al-Faḍl ibn Mūsā narrated to us. Both said: Maʿrūf ibn Kharrabūdh al-Makkī narrated to us: I heard Abū al-Ṭufayl ʿĀmir ibn Wāthilah say: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) circumambulating the House on his mount. He touched the Corner with his curved staff and kissed the staff.
