Sunan Ibn Majah 2952
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ فِيمَ الرَّمَلاَنُ الآنَ وَقَدْ أَطَّأَ اللَّهُ الإِسْلاَمَ وَنَفَى الْكُفْرَ وَأَهْلَهُ وَايْمُ اللَّهِ مَا نَدَعُ شَيْئًا كُنَّا نَفْعَلُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .
Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Jaʿfar ibn ʿAwn narrated to us, from Hishām ibn Saʿd, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from his father, who said: I heard ʿUmar say, “Why jog now, when God has firmly established Islam and removed disbelief and its people? By God, we will not abandon anything we used to do in the time of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him).”
