Sunan Ibn Majah 2960

Al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿUthmān al-Dimashqī narrated to us: al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us, from Mālik ibn Anas, from Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad, from his father, from Jābir, who said: When the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished circumambulating the House, he came to the Station of Abraham. ʿUmar said, “Messenger of God, this is the Station of our father Abraham, about which God, exalted is He, said: «Take the Station of Abraham as a place of prayer.»” Al-Walīd said: I asked Mālik, “Did he recite it this way: «Take the Station of Abraham as a place of prayer»?” He said, “Yes.”
