Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ كَانَتِ الْمُتْعَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ لأَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خَاصَّةً .
Translation
ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Ibrāhīm al-Taymī, from his father, from Abū Dharr, who said: Tamattuʿ in Hajj was specifically for the Companions of Muḥammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
