حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، - مَوْلَى بَنِي عَامِرٍ - حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " الْحُجَّاجُ وَالْعُمَّارُ وَفْدُ اللَّهِ إِنْ دَعَوْهُ أَجَابَهُمْ وَإِنِ اسْتَغْفَرُوهُ غَفَرَ لَهُمْ " .

Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mundhir al-Ḥizāmī narrated to us: Ṣāliḥ ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ṣāliḥ, the client of Banū ʿĀmir, narrated to us: Yaʿqūb ibn Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbbād ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr narrated to me, from Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Sammān, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “Those who perform ḥajj and ʿumrah are a delegation to God. If they call upon Him, He answers them; if they seek His forgiveness, He forgives them.”
