Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Wakīʿ narrated to us, from Sufyān, from ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUbayd Allāh, from Sālim, from Ibn ʿUmar, from ʿUmar, who asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for permission to perform ʿumrah. He gave him permission and said: “My brother, include us in some of your supplication, and do not forget us.”
