Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ قَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي ضَعَفَةِ أَهْلِهِ .
Translation
Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us: ʿAmr narrated to us, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: I was among the members of his family whom the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) sent ahead because of their weakness.
