Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ وَلَمْ يَقِفْ عِنْدَهَا وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
Translation
ʿUthmān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Ṭalḥah ibn Yaḥyā narrated to us, from Yūnus ibn Yazīd, from al-Zuhrī, from Sālim, from Ibn ʿUmar, that he stoned the Jamrat al-ʿAqabah and did not stop there. He mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did the same.
