Sunan Ibn Majah 3043

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah and ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us; they said: Muḥammad ibn Fuḍayl narrated to us: ʿUmārah ibn al-Qaʿqāʿ narrated to us, from Abū Zurʿah, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “O God, forgive those who shave their heads.” They said, “Messenger of God, and those who shorten their hair?” He said, “O God, forgive those who shave their heads.” He said this three times. They said, “Messenger of God, and those who shorten their hair?” He said, “And those who shorten their hair.”
