Sunan Ibn Majah 3049

ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad narrated to us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from Ayyūb, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: Whenever the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about someone doing one rite before another, he gestured with both hands and said, “There is no harm.”
