Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ ضُحًى وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ .
Translation
Ḥarmalah ibn Yaḥyā al-Miṣrī narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir, who said: I saw the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) stone the Jamrat al-ʿAqabah in the forenoon. As for the stoning after that, it was after the sun passed its zenith.
