Sunan Ibn Majah 3076

al-Qāsim ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbbād al-Muhallabī narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Dāwūd narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us, who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj three times: twice before the Hijrah and once after he migrated to Madinah, and he combined an ʿumrah with his Hajj. The sacrificial animals brought by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and by ʿAlī together numbered one hundred. Among them was the camel of Abū Jahl, with a silver nose ring. The Prophet sacrificed sixty-three with his own hand, and ʿAlī sacrificed the rest. He was asked who had reported this. He replied: Jaʿfar, from his father, from Jābir; and Ibn Abī Laylā, from al-Ḥakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn ʿAbbās.
