Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مُحْرِمٌ .
Translation
Muḥammad ibn al-Ṣabbāḥ informed us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah informed us, from Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, from Miqsam, from Ibn ʿAbbās, that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) underwent cupping while he was fasting and in the consecrated state.
