حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَعْطَاهُ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَهُ فِي الرِّفَاقِ وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ .
Translation
Hishām ibn ʿAmmār narrated to us: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd, from Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Taymī, from ʿĪsā ibn Ṭalḥah, from Ṭalḥah ibn ʿUbayd Allāh, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him a wild donkey and instructed him to distribute it among the travelling groups while they were in the consecrated state.
