Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Numayr narrated to us: Muṣʿab ibn al-Miqdām narrated to us: Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Saʿīd ibn Masrūq, from ʿAbāyah ibn Rifāʿah, from Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj, who said: I heard the Prophet say, ‘Fever comes from the heat of Hell, so cool it with water.’ Then he went in to see a son of ʿAmmār and said, ‘Remove the suffering, Lord of humankind, God of humankind.’
