حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَقَّارِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏"‏ مَنِ اكْتَوَى أَوِ اسْتَرْقَى فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَ التَّوَكُّلِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It wasnarrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said

“Healing is in three things: Adrink of honey, the glass of the cupper, and cauterizing with fire,but I forbid my nation to use cauterization.” And he attributed ittothe Prophet (ﷺ).
