Cauterization Sunan Ibn Majah 3491
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ الأَفْطَسُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ " الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلاَثٍ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ وَشَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ وَكَيَّةٍ بِنَارٍ وَأَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَىِّ " . رَفَعَهُ
Translation
It wasnarrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said
“Healing is in three things: Adrink of honey, the glass of the cupper, and cauterizing with fire,but I forbid my nation to use cauterization.” And he attributed ittothe Prophet (ﷺ).
