حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي الْخَصِيبِ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَمِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَسْتَرْقِيَ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ .

ʿAlī ibn Abī al-Khaṣīb narrated to us: Wakīʿ narrated to us, from Sufyān and Misʿar, from Maʿbad ibn Khālid, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Shaddād, from ʿĀʾishah: The Prophet instructed her to seek ruqyah for the evil eye.
