Storing the meat of sacrificial animals Sunan Ibn Majah 3159
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَابِسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلمـ عَنْ لُحُومِ الأَضَاحِيِّ لِجَهْدِ النَّاسِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِيهَا .
Translation
It wasnarrated that ‘Aishah said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) onlyforbade storing the meat of the sacrifices because the people werefacing hardship. Then later he permitted that.”
