Muḥammad ibn Maʿmar narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn Bakr al-Bursānī narrated to us: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, who said: ʿAṭāʾ al-Khurāsānī reported, from Ibn ʿAbbās, that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I owe a sacrificial camel and I can afford one, but I cannot find one to buy. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to buy seven sheep and slaughter them.
