حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَةُ اللِّعَانِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَلْحَقَتْ بِقَوْمٍ مَنْ لَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ فَلَيْسَتْ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَىْءٍ وَلَنْ يُدْخِلَهَا جَنَّتَهُ وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَنْكَرَ وَلَدَهُ وَقَدْ عَرَفَهُ احْتَجَبَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَفَضَحَهُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الأَشْهَادِ " .

Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us: Zayd ibn al-Ḥubāb narrated to us, from Mūsā ibn ʿUbaydah: Yaḥyā ibn Ḥarb narrated to me, from Saʿīd ibn Abī Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: When the verse concerning liʿān was revealed, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Any woman who affiliates to a people someone who does not belong to them has no standing with God, and He will never admit her to His Paradise. Any man who disowns his child, despite knowing the child is his, will be screened off from God on the Day of Resurrection and disgraced before all witnesses.”
