Sunan Ibn Majah 1441
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا دَخَلْتَ عَلَى مَرِيضٍ فَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ لَكَ فَإِنَّ دُعَاءَهُ كَدُعَاءِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ " .

Ja‘far ibn Musafir narrated to us; Kathir ibn Hisham narrated to me; Ja‘far ibn Burqan narrated to us, from Maymun ibn Mihran, from Umar ibn al-Khattab, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: ‘When you visit a sick person, ask him to supplicate for you, for his supplication is like the supplication of the angels.’
