حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جِنَازَةً يُسْرِعُونَ بِهَا قَالَ " لِتَكُنْ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ " .

Muhammad ibn Ubayd ibn Aqil narrated to us; Bishr ibn Thabit narrated to us; Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Layth, from Abu Burdah, from Abu Musa, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He saw a funeral procession being hurried along and said, ‘Let there be calmness among you.’
