What was narrated concerning offering the funeral prayer in the mosque Sunan Ibn Majah 1517
Arabic hadith text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ شَىْءٌ "
Translation
It wasnarrated that Abu Hurairah said
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said: ‘Whoever offers the funeral prayer in the mosque will havenothing (i.e., no reward).’”
