Sunan Ibn Majah 1446
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَقِّنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ " . قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ لِلأَحْيَاءِ قَالَ " أَجْوَدُ وَأَجْوَدُ " .

Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us; Abu Amir narrated to us; Kathir ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Ja‘far, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Prompt your dying ones to say: There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous; glory be to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.’ They said, ‘Messenger of Allah, what about the living?’ He replied, ‘Even better, even better.’
